Synopsis

Noir point-and-click adventure set in 1950s San Francisco. Joe Lyons is doing 40 years on Alcatraz for robbing an armoured truck — the only person who knows where the loot is hidden.

On the outside, his wife Christine is being threatened by Mickey, the third member of the gang, who wants the money for himself; the police are looking for it; and Joe's other ex-accomplices are equally eager to find the cash. Joe needs to break out of "The Rock"; Christine needs to find the loot, line up the escape on the outside and decide who she can trust.

The player switches freely between Joe and Christine at any time, with Joe using his handyman skills inside the prison and Christine navigating the bohemian Beat-era San Francisco of poets, jazz musicians and coffeehouses. Decisions branch the story into multiple alternate endings — including outcomes where the marriage survives, fails, or ends in murder.
