Pixable Studios is a digital content and technology studio in Dresden, Germany. We create high-end 3D, immersive media and animated original IP for film, dome and audiences worldwide.
The team has produced animation in Dresden since the late 1990s, most recently as part of mastersolution AG. In 2026, Pixable Studios GmbH was founded as an independent studio to continue this work — with mastersolution AG as strategic partner.

Our collaboration spanned from Taipei to Milan, reaching Warsaw, Dresden, Valencia, Lisbon, and Los Angeles long before the internet was fast. We’ve maintained that competitive edge; today, we can onboard an external studio or an individual artist into a live production in a single day.

Co-Founder & CEO
Frank has been producing 3D animation in Dresden since 1996. He co-founded the original PiXABLE STUDIOS in 2005 and led production through its 2013 merger with mastersolution AG. Over three decades, he has run projects across film, TV, games, immersive media and industrial visualization — including Werner – Eiskalt, Risen 2, The Surge, Die Siedler 7, Ritter Rost, Tribal Wars 2 and Shorty and the Legend of the Enchanted Reef.
His specialty is building high performing teams and productions that scale. He has spoken on production efficiency at Quo Vadis Berlin (lecture: 'How to tame a Dragon... wait, there are thousands of them').
In 2026 he co-founded Pixable Studios GmbH with Oscar Juarez and mastersolution AG to continue this work as an independent studio.
Co-Founder & CTO
Oscar has been working in 3D animation since 2000, with roots in Mexico City's animation scene at Organika and Lo Coloco Films. He joined the original PiXABLE STUDIOS in 2013 as Technical and VFX Supervisor and became Content Production Lead in 2022.
His specialty is the technical backbone of production: pipeline design, asset publishing, custom tooling for DCCs, and the systems that let creative teams move fast without breaking things. He has worked across feature animation, fulldome, real-time experiences and VFX, and has taught Softimage XSI at Eunoia Animation School.
In 2026 he co-founded Pixable Studios GmbH with Frank Lenhard and mastersolution AG.
We don't work alone.
We work from Dresden — a city that has been East Germany's cultural centre for centuries. The Filmnächte am Elbufer fills the riverbank every summer; Filmfest Dresden brings international shorts to the city every spring. The animation tradition in this region runs deep, and we like working from a place where it still matters.
