Haunted
Sinopsis
Comedy point-and-click adventure built on the same 3D engine Deck13 Interactive used for Jack Keane and the Ankh series.
The player controls Mary, a teenage girl described as a "street urchin", who has run away from home after blaming herself for the death of her little sister Emily in a fateful train crash.
Mary's nights are haunted by visions in which Emily's voice calls out for help, and she sets off following those visions to learn whether Emily might still be alive.
Her search leads her into the clutches of the evil Professor Ashcroft and her ax-wielding henchman Ethan — and into an eerie supernatural underworld through which she travels in 19th-century London, Scotland, Transylvania and even (briefly) a goldfish bowl. Along the way Mary discovers she is one of the few living people who can see ghosts, and accidentally frees a small pirate-themed ghost from a diabolical machine.
Each ghost she befriends has a different supernatural power (touching electrically charged objects, lifting objects "touched by death", manipulating water, translating mysterious writing, floating, and so on) which she uses cooperatively to solve the game's spooky puzzles and uncover the dark secrets of her own past.

Pixable Studios delivered assets and animations for the game — including 150 character animations across the cast of more than 30 named ghosts and human characters. The work paired with Deck13's "sparkling animation including sophisticated facial expressions" feature highlight, and used the same third-person 3D engine Deck13 had previously used for Jack Keane and the Ankh series.
