Ritter Rost
Synopsis
Ritter Rost ("Rösti") thinks he is the bravest, most courageous and best knight in all of Schrottland (Scrap Metal Land). He is wrong: in reality he is a loveable show-off who constantly talks too big. Recklessly he volunteers for every dangerous adventure — and immediately regrets it. Were it not for the courageous damsel Burgfräulein Bö and the cheeky house dragon Koks, Rösti would be lost. Yet somehow he always ends up looking like the hero in the end. Schrottland — ruled by König Bleifuß der Verbogene from his castle — is built entirely from welded and riveted metal and scrap; even the everyday objects are alive and have minds of their own, with teapots, fire extinguishers, tools and toasters all going on adventures alongside Rösti.

Pixable Studios provided the 3D modelling of sets, props and characters, rigging and scene assembly, plus storyboard work and pipeline consulting that supported the show's production schedule across 52 half-hour episodes. The TV series shares its world and lead characters with the later theatrical features "Ritter Rost — Eisenhart und voll verbeult" (2013) and "Ritter Rost 2 — Das Schrottkomplott" (2017), which use a different, higher-profile voice cast including Rick Kavanian, Carolin Kebekus and Christoph Maria Herbst.
